Overview
Hakkari Cilo-Sat Mountains National Park protects some of the highest and most rugged terrain in Turkey. The park includes glacial valleys, alpine lakes, and high ridgelines that form the heart of the Cilo and Sat ranges.
The protected area highlights the alpine ecosystems of the southeastern Taurus and serves as a key conservation zone for high-mountain habitats.
